Buena Vista - FOR 18 to 30's
Buena Vista is a social gathering for 18's-30's in Bedford. The name epitomises quality Latin American jazz, just general 'good times'.
Our vision is:
1) To live life together
- Being a community to reach a community
- Building friendships within Woodside Church
- Fully accessible to 18's-30's whether they are a part of Woodside or not
- At each others homes, in cafe's and bars in Bedford, days out and weekends away
- Through good friendships to have a unified presence in Bedford
2) To support one another
- Founded on good friendship to pray for each other
- Encourage one another in our daily lives
3) To equip, envision and embolden
- Through topical debate
- Challenging/sharpening one-another’s character
- Understanding the bigger picture
- Prayer
Buena Vista is laid back and informal, and does not replace church meetings or discipleship groups. On a day-to-day basis, it might simply be inviting newcomers for dinner with friends. Through the year, there will be organised Buena Vista Events as shown on the flier below.
We hope Buena Vista will be a place to develop good friendships, good vision, and good character.
