WHAT IS GATECRASHERS?
 It’s amazing isn’t it? You get the whole weekend to play games and sports, dance and sing, invent crazy new ways to cause havoc and pretty much just run wild, yet come Monday and the start of a new week you find you’re still bursting with uncontrollable energy! Well for all you ‘Wild Krazy Kidz', we have something for you! Running every Tuesday in term time, “Gatecrashers” is for all you chirpy young chappies aged between 7 and 11 (school years 3 to 6) to come and let off some oomph!
 We meet at 6 pm in the main hall of Woodside Church, and round up the fun at 7:30 pm. ‘But what do we actually do?’ I hear you ask! Well our goal is to make sure you have as much fun as you possibly can, so for the first part of the evening you can choose what to do from loads of great activities, group games, sports, and crafts.
But that’s only half the fun…so when the music plays….you better run for your seats because it’s time for the real fun to start! Up on stage we run ‘game-show’ style messy games, do some drama, and share stories, tales and teachy bits to get you thinking! Basically we just have a lot of fun! Plus you get plenty of chances to win lots of great prizes and if our leaders think you’ve been particularly great that evening you could be our ‘Star for the Night’ and win a whole bag of prizes! AND IF THAT’S NOT ENOUGH! Throughout the term we run ‘friend nights’ (last term we had a circus and bouncy castle night!) where you can invite all your friends and ‘dress up’ nights, so you all have a chance to show us some style!
Why all this fuss!?
Well we believe that young people have the right to know what the Christian faith is all about and have it presented to them in a way that is fun and relevant to them. We want you to be able to check what you already know, explore what you don’t and learn truths that may help you in your life. Every week there will be a Bible Bit- short, sharp and to the point with an aim to merely make you think. And we are more than happy for you to ask as many questions as you want!

A bit about us!
Gatecrashers is run by a team of volunteers from Woodside Church. All adults are fully police checked. We also have regular Ofsted inspections, of which have resulted in excellent reports.
