PLay people
Play People has been part of Woodside Church's family ministry for many years. We meet on a Tuesday and run two sessions, one in the morning (10.00 – 11.15) and the other in the afternoon (1.30 – 2.45). We are able to have up to 65 parents and their children at each session.
We see our role in the community as offering a safe and fun environment for very young children whilst providing a listening ear for parents with any problems.

Whilst the emphasis for the children is fun and play we end every session with ‘Singing Time’ and no session would be complete without Play People’s favourite song – The Grand Old Duke of York! 
During the lunch break we occasionally run either a Parenting Course or an Alpha Course. The Parenting Course offers practical, advice whilst those on the course talk about their own experiences as parents and we all learn from each other.
