Cornerstone

Meeting on a weekly basis, ‘Cornerstone’, is part of Woodside Church's family ministry, which offers a welcoming and encouraging environment for families in need of extra support.

Gathering each Thursday at 10am, 'Cornerstone' welcomes those who have been referred to us to come in, have fun and relax.

While parents enjoy their own free time, we care for and entertain the children. Our team runs a variety of games and group activities to allow them to meet and interact with other children whilst having a lot of fun!

This gives parents the opportunity to make friends, share problems and relax, and as a whole all experience a great sense of community. As part of that community we are there to offer our support where it is needed. Whether that is the need for assistance in filling out forms/documents, offering comfort and advice or supporting people who are overcoming addictions, we aim to give support, guidance and life skill training.

In addition, recent courses have included computing, literacy, childcare, and different craft skills. Various courses are available throughout the year.
